'When your strike rate is lower than your age': Netizens troll Virat Kohli after he fails to perform for Delhi in Ranji Trophy comeback

Former India captain Virat Kohli failed to perform for Delhi in his Ranji comeback after more than a decade. The former India captain got out after scoring just six runs.

Former India captain Virat Kohli who made his Ranji comeback after more than a decade failed to perform with bat as he got out after scoring just six runs in the Delhi vs Railways clash at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Kohli flexed a glimpse of his brilliance with a beautiful straight drive-off Himanshu Sangwan just a ball before his dismissal. 

Soon after Kohli's dismissal, fans started leaving the stadium with disappointment because they were expecting a good knock from their favourite on his home ground. Netizens took their 'X' formerly known as Twitter to troll the Indian star after his dismal performance.

However, there remains a chance for redemption--should Delhi get a second innings, Kohli will have another opportunity to make his mark.

After the Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways, Kohli will join the Rohit Sharma-led India squad for the three-match ODI series against England which is scheduled to start from February 6. England are scheduled to play a three match ODI series against India and this will be the last assignment for both teams before the Champions Trophy 2025. After finishing the white ball series, England will travel to Pakistan and India will travel to Dubai to feature in the Champions Trophy which is scheduled to start from February 19.
