Story Highlights:

With a hat-trick of wins against West Indies, Australia are on top.

India are placed fourth after two losses from three Tests against England.

New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa are yet to play a Test in the current cycle.

WTC 2025-27 Points Table updated: Pat Cummins-led Australia extended their lead over other teams on the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 standings with a 3-0 whitewash against West Indies. On July 14, Australia bundled out hosts West Indies for a paltry 27 -- the second lowest innings score in Test cricket history -- to win the third Test by 176 runs. WTC 2023-winners Australia are at the top of the points table.

England are not far behind. With a sensational 22-run win at the Lord's Cricket Ground, England are placed third. The Ben Stokes-led side has the same win percentage as Sri Lanka. With one win and a draw in the Test series at home against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka are placed third.

With a narrow defeat, India took a huge blow. They have one win from three Tests in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025. The Shubman Gill-led side needs a win in Manchester to make it even-steven and make a comeback in the five-Test series.

Winless so far

Meanwhile, Bangladesh and West Indies are yet to register a win. While Bangladesh managed to salvage a draw on their Sri Lanka tour, West Indies were outclassed at home by the Australians. West Indies batters lacked the patience and technique to bat long in Test cricket resulting in frequent batting collapses.
