Kuldeep’s economical spell
The left-arm chinaman replaced Arshdeep Singh in the playing eleven on the spin-friendly track at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Will Kuldeep feature in next game?
India’s next game is against Netherlands at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on February 18. It will be interesting to see whether Kuldeep retains his place in the side.
It is a dead rubber game. The team management may not risk an injury to their pacer Arshdeep, saving him for the Super 8. clash On February 22, India are set to go up against Aiden Markram's South Africa in Ahmedabad.
Kuldeep has played just one T20I in Ahmedabad. In 2023 against New Zealand, he conceded 12 runs from one over. New Zealand were bowled out for 66 in 12.1 overs, losing to India by a huge margin of 168 runs.
