The Women's Premier League's (WPL) 2026 opening ceremony proved to be incredible thanks to Honey Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez's enthralling performances. The two brought the house dowN, leaving the crowd in awe and even made them sing along. It was nothing short of a memorable event for the ones in attendance.

The ceremony kicked-off with Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu sharing an empowering speech. She set the tone for the event with her powerful words.

Jacqueline lights up the stage

Then, it was Jacqueline Fernandez's turn to take the stage. The actress gave electrifying performances on mashups of several of her songs, leaving the crowd thoroughly entertained. One of her performances that stood out was her powerful and glamorous dance on the famous 'Yaar Naa Miley' song from the Bollywood movie 'Kick'.

Honey Singh ends the ceremony on a high

Finally came Honey Singh, who kicked-off his performance with his popular track 'Millionaire' before performing more of his hits like 'Blue Eyes', 'Lungi Dance' and 'Party All Night'. He ensured that the ceremony came to an end on a fabulous note and that the crowd in attendance was thoroughly entertained.

Meanwhile the WPL 2026 opener saw defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) face-off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The toss was won by RCB captain Smriti Mandhana, who opted to bowl against the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side.
