The broadcasters of the ongoing Bangladesh vs Pakistan Test series found themselves at the center of an embarrassing on-air blunder after a graphic displayed during the match mistakenly featured several Indian cricketers in Pakistan’s playing XI.

The bizarre incident quickly grabbed attention on social media, with fans reacting in disbelief after names like Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Rinku Singh appeared in Pakistan’s team graphic during the live telecast.

Pakistan playing XI graphic mistakenly replaced by Indian stars

During the broadcast, the graphic intended to showcase Pakistan national cricket team’s playing XI instead displayed an entire lineup consisting of Indian players.

The on-screen team sheet surprisingly included Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, and Mukesh Kumar.

The unexpected mix-up left fans stunned and amused, with screenshots of the graphic rapidly going viral across social media platforms.

The blunder became one of the major talking points of the match, especially considering the high-profile nature of the Test series between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Bangladesh dominates opening Test against Pakistan

On the cricketing front, Bangladesh national cricket team made a strong statement in the opening Test after posting a commanding first-innings total of 413 runs in 117.1 overs.
