Moin Khan questions Champions Trophy tour amid schedule uncertainty.

Former Pakistan Cricketer Moin Khan questioned the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the Champions Trophy tour which is taking place in Pakistan without any clarity over the schedule and venues of the marquee event. The upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy is scheduled to take place in Pakistan but after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) denied sending team India to the neighbouring nation has raised concerns over the venue for the ICC event.

The tournament was supposed to take place between February 19 and March 9. Still, there is no official confirmation, as India reportedly wants to play its matches at a neutral venue and PCB doesn't want any games outside the country.

Amid all the drama, the trophy tour is all set to begin in Pakistan from November 16 (Saturday). As per PTI, the trophy tour will begin from Skardu in northern Pakistan.

However, the former Pakistan captain questioned the decision of the trophy tour amid uncertainty over the venue for the tournament.

"What is the purpose of this trophy tour when no one really knows at which venues the tournament will be held and whether Pakistan and India will play against each other in the event?," he said as quoted by Sportskeeda.

"Strange having a trophy tour without the schedule being announced," the former Pakistan keeper-batter, who was a member of the 1992 World Cup-winning squad, added.

The Champions Trophy schedule was initially expected to be revealed on November 11 in Lahore, where all of India’s matches were proposed to take place. As India decided not to travel to neighbouring nation for the marquee event ICC yet to finalise the schedule for the ODI tournament.
