Real Madrid have been struggling with seven injury concerns at a single time. Ahead of UCL game against Manchester City, Alvaro Carreras has picked up a muscle injury in the calf on his right leg.

Another bad news for Real Madrid ahead of game vs Manchester City

The ongoing season is not going in Real Madrid's favor at all, as in a LaLiga clash against Getafe on March 2, Carreras suffered the blow. Later the defender missed the league game against Celta Vigo, where Real Madrid secured a 2-1 win.

The latest development suggest that, Carreras picked up a muscle injury to his right calf. Real Madrid confirmed his injury by sharing a statement, saying that the tests were performed on the player and he has been diagnosed with a serious muscle injury in the right leg.

“After the tests carried out on our player Álvaro Carreras by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the calf of his right leg. Pending evolution,” a statement read.

 

 

Currently, including Carreras Real Madrid have seven players on the sidelines. The defender joins the likes of Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Dani Ceballos, Eder Militao, David Alaba, and Kylian Mbappe on the list of absentees.
