Recently, the Portuguese superstar stated on Piers Morgan Uncensored that winning the World Cup is not his dream and the footballing major’s significance in determining the greatest player of all time.
The interview has taken over the internet and has divided everyone with different opinions. Meanwhile, Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario doesn't agree that the Al Nassr striker is the best in the world. However, the two-time Ballon d’Or winner has ranked the former Real Madrid superstar in the top 10.

Nazario went brutally honest in his recent interview with ESPN and gave his opinion on Ronaldo. The 49-year-old also revealed whether he considers the Saudi League player the best in the world.
"Cristiano scored goals in every way possible, even after changing position. That's not easy to do; he's definitely among the best players in history.”
Stating if he considers Ronaldo best in the world, the two-time World Cup winner, Ronaldo, who has one of the most respected voices in the sport, said in the aforementioned interview:
“But the best? I don't agree. I respect his opinion, but I would put him in the top 10.”
Ronaldo, who has been named FIFA World Player of the Year three times, stated:
“I think some people have very high self-esteem.”
The two-time Ballon d’Or winner further said:
“I'd rather people talk about my performances, what I did, what I was, rather than talk about myself.”
Nazario, who is the owner of La Liga side Real Valladolid, ended by saying that Cristiano “has a fantastic story, he has conquered great things.”
This has added fuel to an already intense debate, which is never-ending, it seems. Ronaldo, the former Manchester United striker, had earlier told Morgan that he is happy with the achievements with Portugal and would rather live in the moment. Cristiano, who continues to find the net for Al Nassr, is aiming to score 1000 career goals and has won three titles with his national side.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo, the 40-year-old goal machine, will be playing at the upcoming World Cup 2026 with an aim to win the title for his side. This is expected to be the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s last dance at the major.
