Shortly after the final whistle, Atlético's official X account posted a humorous trolling video captioned:
"Dame un grrr.”
The post featured a video in which a dog dressed in a lion's mane costume, mocking Barcelona's emblem, was playfully handled and subdued. The clip quickly went viral, amassing over millions of views and sparking heated reactions from Barcelona supporters, many of whom accused Atlético of benefiting from controversial refereeing decisions across both legs.
Meanwhile, Simeone's side is waiting for the winners of the other two quarterfinals as they reach the last four of the UCL. All thanks to goals from Julián Álvarez and Alexander Sørloth, combined with an early red card to Barcelona's Pau Cubarsí, helped the team advance.
