According to a report by Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid and Vinicius Jr had a conversation that concluded in the club keeping the player in Spain. The Italian transfer expert wrote:
“Real Madrid are closing in on new deal for Vinicius Jr after positive talks yesterday.”
According to Romano, Mourinho’s side are at the final stages of the verbal agreement with the Brazilian. The final agreement is in process so that both sides can go ahead with a “new long-term contract.” It was also reported earlier that Mourinho, who is on his second spell with Real Madrid, also pushed for the extensions and is heavily involved with the case.
