Double injury blow for Barcelona

Despite almost making a historic comeback, Barca lost two of its integral players after this high-intensity game, where the Catalan club offered everything to make a turn-around and reach the semi-final of the tournament.

Following the game, Barcelona revealed that star left-back sustained an injury to the distal biceps femoris of his left thigh, which will keep him out of action for at least four weeks.

On the other hand, star right-back, Jules Kounde was also found with an injury on his left thigh. For the Frenchman, no concrete return timeline was given. According to Diario Sport, Kounde will stay on the sidelines for at least four weeks.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to meet again in Champions League?
