Cristiano Ronaldo's are looking to sign Andreas Christensen to their side. The Danish player is said to be their target following they backed out of David Hancko's deal.
According to a report by Fichajes, AL Nassr are interested in strengthening their squad and see the former Chelsea's star as an ideal fit. Barcelona are interested to sell the defender as they have enough players in that position.
Reportedly, Al-Nassr had an agreement with Hancko and the defender was all set for his medical. But, they opted out of the deal at the last moment, a spokesperson from the Dutch club told ESPN that it was a 'scandalous' decision.
"It's truly scandalous how a club would treat a player this way. This has never happened before."
Hancko has joined Atletico Madrid, while Al Nassr continue to search for a defender. They believe that Christensen can bring the much needed experience in the backline to replace Aymeric Laporte, who has not been picked by new manager Jorge Jesus's pre season squad, along with Otavia. Laporte has been linked with Athletic Bilbao.
Sergio Aguero questions Cristiano Ronaldo's claims
In a conversation with Stake, Sergio Aguero said that it was premature to call the Saudi Pro League one of the best in the world. The former Manchester City striker disagrees with Cristiano Ronaldo's statement. He said that the league needs to be consistent for years and cannot be judged based on a few matches at the FIFA Club World Cup.
"It'd be a pointless controversy to jump into. If Ronaldo's statement is right and the Saudi Arabian league is indeed among the top of the world, that will be proved throughout the years. Certainly not through a single match. I personally think that it has shown very respectable growth recently, but it'd be premature to call it one of the biggest in the world."
Al-Hilal managed to get a draw against Real Madrid and defeated Manchester City at the FIFA Club World Cup.
