Amid a series of questions to answer, club skipper Virgil van Dijk claimed that Dominik Szoboszlai has all the necessary qualities to take up the leadership duties in the coming future.

The 25-year-old player has cemented himself as a versatile player, and produced a high work rate in the ongoing season. When questioned about the possibility of Szoboszlai wearing the armband one day, Van Dijk responded with a positive reply. He expressed his confidence in the midfielder.

"That's all on the manager I think. I don't know. Yeah. Obviously, he has been very good. He's also a player who I think can still make the next step in terms of being a leader for this team," said van Dijk.
