Manchester City beat Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu while Erling Haaland was a constant source of trouble for the hosts’ back line. Rodrygo opened the goal scoring at the 28th minute of the first half, but it was overshadowed by the goals from O'Reilly and Haaland.
The Norway international marked the occasion by scoring the winner from the penalty spot, and it was his 51st Champions League goal in just 50 starts. Following the match, the 25-year-old went on to convey a message to the Real Madrid star he misses.

Haaland sent a message to his former teammate Jude Bellingham and stated that he misses him.
“I miss Jude Bellingham. I miss playing with him. He’s such a good guy.”
The two, Haaland and Bellingham, played together at Borussia Dortmund. They stayed there for two seasons together in the Black and Yellow jersey. The City striker then completed a move to the Premier League side in the summer of 2022.
Later, Bellingham joined the Los Blancos side in the summer of 2023. Following their stunning movies, both players have become an integral part of their respective clubs. However, the two continue to miss their bonds often in the interviews and have clearly struck a friendship there.
Meanwhile, the 15-time UCL champions played without superstar Kylian Mbappe, and Haaland did admit he missed playing against the French international. The World Cup winner was in the squad but did not feature due to injury concerns.
