FC Barcelona star has firmly rejected any possibility of joining arch-rivals Real Madrid, even if he is offered a massive amount of money. The 23-year-old defender, who has emerged as a reliable option for Hansi Flick, has instead stated that he is "very happy" at Barca with no plans to leave.
The player has prioritised club loyalty over financial gain and affirmed his happiness at the Camp Nou. With the rivalry between the two teams, the fans would be happy to hear such commitments made by the player.
Barca star’s honest admission on whether he will ever sign for rivals Real Madrid
Gerard Martin, while he was a guest on the 3Cat Fanzone program, was asked about his hypothetical transfer to Real Madrid. The player said:
“Barcelona is very beautiful and I am happy. I do not have to think about anything.”
The Spaniard continued:
“Real Madrid? Not for anything in the world. There are some things money can’t buy.”
The defender has been recently linked to AC Milan, but it seems like the Barca player does not desire to move to the Serie A side, as he wants his future in Spain with Flick’s side.
