Speaking to reporters after the match, Harry Kane said: "I'm glad it happened in a friendly game. I slipped. As a footballer, sometimes things happen that you can't control."

Kane scored the opening Goal against spurs, but his joy turned into frustration after three minutes, when he skied the ball over the crossbar after getting the penalty. French winger Kingsley Coman then added the German side’s second lead with a magnificent curling shot from the edge of the box at 62 minutes.

Bayern teenagers Lennart Karl and Jonah Kusi-Asare, then scored in the dying minutes of the match to complete the one-sided victory.

Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich at a €100 million transfer from Spurs in the summer of 2023.

The 32-year-old played a total of 435 games for Spurs and scored 280 goals, which is also a record for the Spurs.

Bayern Munich will play their final pre-season friendly against Swiss club Grasshopper FC on August 12, before formally starting off their 2025-26 campaign against Stuttgart in the German Super Cup on August 16 in Stuttgart.
