Big boost for Al-Nassr as Kingsley Coman returns
As per a report by journalist Ali Al Abdullah, Coman participated in the training with the first team players ahead of their league clash against Al Khaleej. The league leaders have performed well in the absence of the new signing, securing wins in all eight league games so far.
Al-Nassr's good performance in Coman's absence
Coman picked up an injury in the win over Neom earlier this month and was expected to be on the sidelines for some time. However, he has rejoined the training, providing manager Jorge Jesus enough options in the attack department.
Coman joined Al-Nassr in the summer, and said that he was not pleased with questions regarding his national team call-up earlier this season. he said:
"I played in Europe for 10 years and I've only been there for a month. You don't lose your skills. I'm the same player I was at Bayern. I'm not going to lose my level in a year either (laughs). I'm always ready to help the national team. I'm sure I can maintain my level. I'm going to continue to want to be the best player I can be. And I still have my knowledge of the top level."
"What I see is that we have a good squad and that we would be competitive in Europe. I'm not going to lose my rhythm: I play a lot more there than I did at Bayern last season. Between playing 20 minutes at Bayern and playing every game, which is better? People think it's easy, but between the league four years ago and today, it's much more competitive."
Cristiano Ronaldo's crucial role in Kingsley Coman's move
Kingsley Coman revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo played a big role in pushing the Bayern Munich player to make a move to the Saudi Pro League. The French star disclosed that he had already agreed to a deal with Al-Nassr and said:
"Yes, he called me, I had already given my agreement a little earlier, and then he called me. And he reiterated what the management had told me, that the club hasn't won trophies for several years. They are ready to give everything to win trophies this year and that I could help with my experience, considering the fact that I have already won many trophies at the clubs I've played for. And I really hope that at the end of this season, we will be able to celebrate titles."
Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to win his first major title with Al-Nassr since joining the side in 2022.
