Real Madrid continues to receive unfortunate news amid the struggles. The club, which lacks Trent Arnold Alexander in the backline, recently informed that Eder Militao suffered a tear in the biceps femoris muscle of his left leg with involvement of the tendon. Hence, Los Blancos would be without the centre back for two or three months.

Meanwhile, it has now been reported that team star Kylian Mbappe fractured his finger during Madrid’s recent 0-2 loss in the league, as per Cope. The Whites are scheduled for an important UEFA Champions League clash next, against Manchester City. Will the French star play against Pep Guardiola’s side?

The good news is that Mbappe will be available for Real Madrid’s UCL clash against Manchester City. The France international suffered a fracture in the first half of the game, while the striker carried on until full-time.

Mbappe failed to score, leading to Xabi Alonso’s first home loss of the season. The team would desperately need the Frenchman at his best form on Wednesday’s pivotal clash. It remains to be seen if he performs at his magical best while Alonso’s job is on the line.

Real Madrid has won just two games in their last seven matches, and the fracture had emerged in the Spanish head coach’s project. It has also been reported by the media that losing against Pep Guardiola and Erling Haaland’s side would result in his premature dismissal.

Mbappe has managed to find the net 25 times in 21 games to lead the scoring table. On the other hand, City’s Haaland has netted 20 goals in 20 games across all competitions. Can the Real Madrid forward save Alonso’s job against the Norwegian’s magic with a fractured finger? The clash will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu, which might be a relief to the short-handed home side.
