Football fans of the country are in for a special treat as the much-awaited GOAT India Tour is expanding and has added another major stop to the list. The former FC Barcelona star is confirmed to grace Hyderabad, and the date is confirmed.
When will Lionel Messi visit Hyderabad? Date confirmed ahead of GOAT India Tour 2025
Messi is set to visit Hyderabad on the evening of December 13, 2025, which is delightful news for the fans in South India. The MLS striker is set to travel to Hyderabad on the same day, following a grand celebration in Kolkata for the next leg of the much-celebrated event.
Satadru Dutta, the man who is behind the idea of bringing Messi to India, spoke to ANI and told:
"Hyderabad has been added, it will be in the evening of 13th.”
Dutta continued:
"The GOAT event will have similar events to what we have planned for other states.”
Last week, organisers of Messi’s India tour met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence, where the CM unveiled the official tour poster. According to the reports, the CM also received a football signed by Messi’s team.

It will be Messi’s second visit to the country after 14 years. The 2022 World Cup winner, Messi’s second trip to India, promises to be much more than just football. It will be a celebration packed with concerts, charity events, meet and greet sessions, and more.
The tour is set to begin in Kolkata on December 13, 2025, followed by his visit on the same day to Hyderabad. The forward will then move to Mumbai on December 14 programs lined up at the Wankhede Stadium. Before moving to New Delhi on December 15 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
