Pep Guardiola Opens Up After Manchester City's Loss To PSG
Having endured the exasperation of squandering a lead several times in the Premier League, City's fortunes did not change in the UCL as well. It was a game of two halves, where till the 55th minute the visitors looked composed and successfully attained the breakthrough as well, twice but once PSG opened the floodgates, it was over for Guardiola's side.
Following the culmination of the match, City head coach Pep Guardiola admitted that PSG were more dominant on the offensive quotient and their athleticism gave them the edge.
“They [PSG] were more aggressive,” he said. “They jump really well, they squeeze really well and we could not make the process that we should.
“The connection with Bernardo and Kova was not possible or was not good. We could not make the process and in terms of transitions, we cannot cope with them.
“They are faster and quicker, so we have to defend with the ball and we didn’t do that. It’s impossible to defend well if you don’t play.”

What's Next For Manchester City
With the loss, Man City are languishing at 25th in the Champions League standings and faces a real danger of crashing out in the initial stages of the tournament. Pep Guardiola's city, which has dominated the larger part of the last decade is facing its worst run on the field, and it does not seem to get better for City and Guardiola. Thus, what do you think, is this the end of an era or just a difficult phase from which City will come out with flying colors? The Premier League defending champions will take on Chelsea on Saturday.
