With Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid rumors not dying down, the subject reached one of the veterans in the Madrid locker room, who addressed it and gave a definite answer about the prevalent links. As per reports, Madrid is continuously monitoring the progress of the wingback and are willing to pay £20 million ($25 million) for Liverpool’s right-back.

Lucas Vazquez Addresses the Pressing Query on Trent Alexander-Arnold
The European champions Real Madrid are enduring a season filled with ups and downs but thanks to the sudden plummet in the form of FC Barcelona, Los Blancos still holds the top position in the Spanish topflight. Injuries have also thwarted the progress of Madrid in the current season, with Dani Carvajal's ACL tier being the worst of the lot. Carvajal's absence has brought Lucas Vazquez into the fray and so far the Spaniard has done a decent job at the back, considering it is not his natural position. However, Madrid are on the lookout for a permanent solution and Alexander-Arnold fits the bill for their requirement.
Amid the talks of a potential transfer, Lucas Vazquez was asked to present his views on the Liverpool left-back. Though, the player addressed the question but did not state anything substantial, stating that he would like to rest his thoughts when it comes to speaking about players who do not play for Madrid.
“You're asking about a player who isn't at Madrid and that's something I can't answer,” he responded during a press conference ahead of the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Mallorca.
Should Real Madrid's interest in Alexander-Arnold intensifies then a summer transfer window could see him don the colors of Madrid. However, as of now, nothing is concrete.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a key player in the Arne Slot's set-up. Hence, the Reds would not mind going the distance in convincing their star defender to stay. Nevertheless, considering the immense pull that Real Madrid holds, it would be interesting if Liverpool would stand any chance. Jude Bellingham, an Englishman is already on the roster of Madrid, has found immense success in the white jersey and Trent could form a duo with the fellow countryman.
