During an ESPN quick-fire interview, blending fun with football fandom, Toone was asked a ton of choices to make. One of those was to choose between Messi and Ronaldo, a very popular question in the football World.
The English star went on to choose the Portuguese legend against the Argentine. She was also asked to choose between Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, and her answer was the Real Madrid striker. She also chose Aitana Bonmati against Alexia Putellas, both players of FC Barcelona Women.
Meanwhile, the attacking midfielder remains a key player for both Manchester United Women and the England national team. She has become their all-time leading appearance-maker and goalscorer, recently reaching her 200th appearance for the club in October 2025 during a Champions League win over Atlético Madrid.
Toone has also added United Women's historic 500th goal. Meanwhile, Man United Women currently sit second in the WSL table after 16 matches, with 10 wins, 4 draws, and 2 losses, following Manchester City at the top.
