Jokić’s presence quickly went viral, delighting crossover fans of the NBA and Premier League. Social media buzzed with humorous takes, including jokes about the three-time MVP securing a future contract extension by backing his owners’ team. Clips of the Serbian star enjoying the electric atmosphere in Budapest have since circulated widely across platforms.
The Denver Nuggets center, known for his stoic demeanor on the court, was captured on video enthusiastically supporting Arsenal, donning red colors as Jokić clapped, high-fived fellow fans, and erupted in celebration when Kai Havertz gave the Gunners an early lead.
The connection is no coincidence: the Kroenke family, which owns the Nuggets, also controls Arsenal, adding a personal touch to Jokić’s appearance at the high-stakes European showdown
The match itself was a thriller. Arsenal and PSG played to a 1-1 draw after extra time, with Ousmane Dembélé equalizing for the defending champions. PSG ultimately prevailed 4-3 in a tense penalty shootout, securing back-to-back Champions League titles.
