Dybala continued:
“The contract ends in two matches. The derby, as my contract states, will be my last match in front of our fans.”
Dybala joined Roma on a free transfer from Juventus in 2022 and quickly became a fan favorite, delivering flair, key goals, and leadership, notably helping the team reach the Europa League final in 2023.
Despite recurring injury issues that limited his consistency, he has remained a talismanic presence, scoring crucial strikes and embodying creativity in attack. A 2022 World Cup winner with Argentina, he arrived with high expectations after a successful spell at Juventus but has dealt with fitness challenges in recent seasons.
As a free agent this summer, Dybala is expected to draw significant interest, with speculation already linking him to clubs in Europe and South America. The forward has prioritized finishing the current campaign strongly before deciding on his next chapter.
