BGIS 2025 The Grind: Groups Revealed

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 is in full swing, with in-game qualifiers now concluded. A total of 1,016 teams have secured their spots for Round 1 of the competition. Before these teams enter the main event, BGIS 2025: The Grind is set to take place from February 5 to 23. This stage will feature 64 directly invited teams, selected based on their recent performances in major tournaments. These teams will compete in The Grind, where their placements will determine their seeding in the later rounds of BGIS 2025.

Invited Teams and Group Revealed

BGIS 2025: The Grind serves as a qualification phase for the 64 invited teams, offering them a chance to earn favorable seeding for the main event. Krafton has selected these teams based on their prior achievements in competitive BGMI events. These squads have been split into four groups, each consisting of 16 teams. Tournament Schedule and Format

BGIS 2025: The Grind is scheduled to run from February 5 to 23, with the invited teams playing 24 matches each across four weeks. Their performance in these matches will determine their progression in BGIS 2025.

• Week 1 (February 5-8):

  • Bottom 8 teams advance to Round 1 (February 16-23).
  • Top 8 teams secure a spot in Round 2 (February 27 - March 2).

• Week 2 (February 10-13):

  • Bottom 8 teams move to Round 2 (February 27 - March 2).
  • Top 8 teams qualify for Round 3 (March 6-9).

• Week 3 (February 15-18):

  • Bottom 8 teams proceed to Round 3 (March 6-9).
  • Top 8 teams advance to Round 4 (March 13-16).

• Week 4 (February 20-23):

  • Bottom 8 teams qualify for Round 4 (March 13-16).
  • Top 8 teams secure direct entry into the Quarterfinals (March 20-23).

BGIS 2025: Main Event Details

Following The Grind, BGIS 2025 will officially continue with 1,016 open qualifier teams and 64 pro teams competing for the championship. The tournament will run from January 25 to April 27, culminating in the Grand Finals, which will take place in Kolkata from April 25 to 27.
