The Maharashtra derby in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 saw U Mumba and Puneri Paltan deliver an exhilarating 32-32 draw on January 23, Tuesday. Guman Singh shone brightly for U Mumba with 15 raid points, while Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh contributed 6 tackle points in the match.

Early in the game, Aslam Inamdar's couple of raid points propelled Puneri Paltan to a 4-2 lead by the third minute. Sanket Sawant added to Pune's momentum with successful tackles against Heidarali Ekrami and Guman Singh, widening their lead. Yet, Ekrami's capture of Gaurav Khatri kept U Mumba in contention at 5-7.

 

The game saw an exchange of tackle points, with Puneri Paltan maintaining a 10-7 lead in the 13th minute. Bittu's tackle on Mohit Goyat kept U Mumba close at 9-10. Shortly after, Guman Singh executed a SUPER RAID, leading to an ALL OUT against Pune and giving U Mumba a solid 15-11 advantage. Continuing his form, Guman Singh executed more successful raids, keeping Mumbai ahead at 19-17 by halftime.

 

In the second half's early moments, Mohit Goyat executed a spectacular raid, yet U Mumba maintained their lead at 21-19. Goyat's impressive performance continued as Puneri Paltan brought U Mumba down to only two players on the mat. Pune then quickly inflicted an ALL OUT, gaining a 25-23 lead by the 27th minute. Despite this, Guman Singh kept up his excellent form, helping U Mumba to equalize at 26-26.

The match then progressed into a closely fought contest, with the score tied at 30-30 in the 37th minute. U Mumba managed a tackle on Aslam Inamdar, but Ekrami's capture of Shadloui brought the scores level again. Goyat's raid put Pune slightly ahead at 32-31, with just 50 seconds remaining. However, Rane earned a bonus point, bringing the score to a 32-32 tie. As the clock wound down, Aslam Inamdar chose to play it safe, opting for a draw in the final moments of the game.
