On Sunday, in their Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 match at Hyderabad's Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Tamil Thalaivas secured a convincing 45-28 win against Bengaluru Bulls, thanks to a combination of dynamic raiding and solid defending. Narender and Ajinkya Pawar led the charge for the Thalaivas with 14 and 11 points, respectively, while their captain Sagar contributed significantly with 5 tackle points. For the Bengaluru Bulls, Akshit was the standout performer, amassing 12 raid points.
The match was a tight affair with both teams displaying equal prowess, leaving little room for errors. Akshit, fresh off a great performance in the previous game, started strong for the Bulls, notching 7 points in the first 10 minutes. However, Tamil Thalaivas, fueled by Narender and Ajinkya Pawar, kept the scoreboard moving steadily in their favor.
Bengaluru Bulls' defense struggled in the first 15 minutes, failing to score any tackle points. During this time, Tamil Thalaivas executed their first All-Out, propelled by Narender and Ajinkya, taking a commanding 18-9 lead.
The Bulls responded with increased intensity, highlighted by Sushil's remarkable three-point raid. They nearly achieved an All-Out, but Ajinkya's resilience helped the Thalaivas maintain a substantial 25-14 lead at halftime.
Akshit continued his impressive form for the Bulls, overpowering Himanshu to score his first Super 10 of the season and later securing an All-Out for his team. With 11 minutes remaining, Tamil Thalaivas held a lead of 31-23.
Narender then took center stage with two impactful multi-point raids, swiftly leading to another All-Out for the Thalaivas. During this surge, he achieved a Super 10, extending his team's lead to 14 points with less than five minutes on the clock.
In the final three minutes, Tamil Thalaivas' captain Sagar executed a powerful tackle on Sushil, earning a High 5 and becoming the first defender to reach 50 tackle points this season. Adding to the celebrations, Sahil Gulia also surpassed the 50 tackle points milestone. The Thalaivas wrapped up the game with a decisive 17-point victory, highlighting their formidable combination of raiding prowess and defensive strength.
