McLaren’s 2024 season was a major success, with the team winning its first Constructors’ Championship since 1998.

Allwyn’s partnership with McLaren aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its brand internationally.

Reigning Formula 1 Constructors’ Champions McLaren have officially confirmed a new partnership with lottery operator Allwyn, just a day after Formula 1 itself secured a multi-year deal with the company as an ‘Official Partner’ for the upcoming 2025 season.

McLaren Expands Sponsorship Portfolio with Allwyn
McLaren, fresh off their first Constructors’ Championship victory in 26 years, is looking to build on their success with the backing of Allwyn. The 2024 season saw drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri clinch six race wins between them, fending off tough competition from Ferrari and Red Bull.

As excitement builds for the 2025 season, McLaren’s partnership with Allwyn will see the lottery operator’s branding featured prominently on the team’s new car and on the race suits of Norris and Piastri.

Zak Brown Welcomes Allwyn to McLaren Racing
McLaren’s Chief Executive Officer, Zak Brown, expressed his enthusiasm about the new collaboration, stating:

“We are delighted to welcome Allwyn to the McLaren Racing family. Off the back of a fantastic 2024 season in Formula 1, it’s great to have an international brand like Allwyn join us at a time when the team – and the sport – is going from strength to strength. We’re excited to go racing together.”

 Allwyn’s Global Expansion Strategy
Allwyn’s partnership with McLaren aligns with the company’s broader strategy to expand its brand internationally. Karel Komárek, the founder of Allwyn, highlighted the significance of this partnership:

“This exciting partnership – alongside the partnership we announced earlier this week with F1 – is a big step forward on Allwyn’s journey to expand its business and brand globally. Our collaboration with McLaren benefits from a shared drive to thrive, fuelled by technology and with innovation at its heart; characteristics that will continue to power Allwyn’s global development.”

A Commitment to Responsibility and Safety
Allwyn’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Chvátal, also emphasized the alignment between McLaren and Allwyn’s values:

“McLaren is an iconic name in Formula 1, with huge international appeal. It is one of the most successful racing teams in the world – with incredibly exciting drivers. We take pride that wherever Allwyn operates, we create safe and responsible ways for people to play. We know that McLaren, like the wider world of Formula 1, also prioritizes safety and responsibility. We look forward to working together to realize our shared ambition of a world full of winning moments.”

 McLaren’s Hopes for Continued Success
With the addition of Allwyn as a key partner, McLaren aims to build on their momentum and challenge for both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championships in 2025. The team’s last Drivers’ Championship win came in 2008 with Lewis Hamilton, and hopes are high that Lando Norris or Oscar Piastri could end that drought.

As Formula 1 continues to grow in popularity worldwide, this partnership marks another step forward in McLaren’s quest for sustained success both on and off the track.
