As the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Kansas Speedway, the 2014 champion Kevin Harvick has his say and predicted the winner for the first race of Round of 12's playoffs. He has picked Hendrick Motorsports driver to win Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Whom did Kevin Harvick pick to win Hollywood Casino 400?

In his podcast by the name 'Happy Hour', Kevin Harvick gave a detailed analysis of the driver he thinks will have an upper hand in Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Harvick feels that Kyle Larson is going to win at Kansas' 1.5-mile intermediate track. Larson is coming off a dominating win at Bristol where he led 462 laps out of 500.

The co-host of the show, Kaitlyn Vincie also picked Kyle Larson to win the race and go for back-to-back wins. Harvick agreed with her and said, "Yep, me too."

Kyle Larson's win at Bristol was monumental as he became the second driver after Cale Yarborough to lead more than 450 laps. Back in 1977, Cale Yarborough managed to lead 495 laps in comparison to Larson's 462.

But, the other co-host of the show, Mamba Smith didn't agree with Harvick and Vincie as he chose Christopher Bell to win this week. He said, "I'm going to go with Christopher Bell. I just think that this track is really good for them. It’s a mile and a half. He's running on the top and can run anywhere. I would go Tyler Reddick, too, or him, because 23XI is dominating Kansas, #45 specifically; that number wins at Kansas a lot.”

Christopher Bell sees himself second in the playoffs standings just behind the leader Kyle Larson.

Past performances for Kyle Larson at the Kansas Speedway

Kyle Larson has had outstanding numbers when it comes to the Kansas Speedway. He has two wins, eight top-five finishes and 11 top-ten finishes to his name. His latest win at Kansas came this year in May in the form of AdventHealth 400. He will be eyeing to win back-to-back races.
