After confirming its F1 ambitions in 2022, Audi has spent the past two years developing a factory power unit at its Neuberg facility while simultaneously strengthening Sauber’s infrastructure in Hinwil—where the team’s chassis and race operations will be based. The brand has additionally expanded its footprint to the UK, establishing a Technology Centre in Bicester to tap into the engineering expertise of Britain’s renowned Motorsport Valley.

Mattia Binotto, the former Ferrari chief now leading the Audi F1 Project, echoed this forward-looking approach. While he outlined a phased strategy for evolving from challenger to champion, he reinforced the ultimate objective: “The goal is clear: to fight for championships by 2030.”
