Ferrari, the longest-serving and most iconic team in Formula 1, holds the record for the most Constructors' World Championships. With 16 titles to their name, the Scuderia has firmly established itself as a symbol of F1. Ferrari's dominance in the sport is legendary, dating back to its debut season in 1950. Over the decades, Ferrari has consistently been at the forefront, producing legendary drivers and achieving remarkable successes. Notable drivers like Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Michael Schumacher, and Kimi Räikkönen have helped secure these 16 titles.

Despite their historical success, Ferrari's 2024 season ended in heartbreak as McLaren managed to secure their first Constructors’ Championship in 26 years. Ferrari fought hard throughout the season but came up short in the final race at Abu Dhabi, where Lando Norris’ strong performance allowed McLaren to seal the deal.

The teams with the most Constructors' Championships in Formula 1 are as follows:

 1st: Ferrari – 16 Championships
 2nd: Williams – 9 Championships
 2nd: McLaren – 9 Championships
 3rd: Mercedes – 8 Championships
 4th: Lotus – 7 Championships

 Ferrari's Dominance in Formula 1

As the most successful team in the history of Formula 1, Ferrari has consistently been at the top of the Constructors' standings. The team’s remarkable success on the track has been complemented by its rich heritage and unmatched legacy in the sport. With a legacy spanning over 70 years, Ferrari’s name has become synonymous with excellence, speed, and passion.

In 2024, Ferrari aimed to add another title to their storied history. However, despite a competitive season, they fell just short to McLaren, who claimed their ninth Constructors’ Championship. Ferrari’s performance in Abu Dhabi, where they secured second and third positions with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc respectively, wasn't enough to close the points gap with McLaren.

McLaren’s Historic Win: Norris Clinches the Title

McLaren, on the other hand, made a spectacular comeback to the top of Formula 1, winning their first Constructors' Championship in 26 years. Lando Norris, who started from pole, delivered a flawless performance in the final race of the season to secure the team’s historic victory. Despite a challenging race, where teammate Oscar Piastri faced several difficulties, Norris managed to hold off Ferrari's Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc to clinch the title.

"It feels incredible. Not for myself but for the whole team. They have done an amazing job from where we were at the beginning," said Norris, reflecting on McLaren's remarkable resurgence this season.

The Final Race in Abu Dhabi

Norris, who had qualified on pole, led from the start and managed to keep Ferrari's Sainz at bay for the majority of the race. Despite early challenges, including a collision involving Piastri, Norris’ calm and strategic approach helped McLaren achieve their goal.
