Asian Games 2023: Nandini Agasara clinches bronze medal in women's Heptathlon, Swapna Barman finishes fourth

In the Heptathlon even, 20-year-old Nandini Agasara clinched a bronze medal by saving her best performance for the last Heptathlon event. Agasara won the 800m race to secure her place on the podium.

India's medal tally at the Asian Games 2023 sailed past the 50 mark as the country's athletes continued to perform exquisitely on October 1 (Sunday). In the Heptathlon even, 20-year-old Nandini Agasara clinched a bronze medal by saving her best performance for the last Heptathlon event. Agasara won the 800m race to secure her place on the podium. Swapna Barman came agonisingly close to a podium finish but finished in fourth place.
