Despite Fury's denial of the cheating allegations, Paul took the opportunity to mock his rival as the pair announced their split. Paul took a shot at his Fury when he was asked about one word that comes to when he thinks about Tommy Fury.

Since his controversial victory over KSI in October, Fury has not fought as he underwent a hand surgery. According to the organizers, the fight was a huge success, selling more than one million pay-per-view tickets. The Misfits Boxing promotion of KSI put on the event, which was their largest since they started in 2022. Paul's jibe at Misfits
