Chris Jericho On Taking the Heavy Blow from CM Punk

Speaking to WWE’s YouTube channel, Jericho said: “I eliminated Dolph Ziggler, I eliminated Kofi Kingston, and then I wake up in the locker room being tended to by physicians. I was not eliminated from that Chamber.

“What kind of a champion is CM Punk to take a victory like that? To allow himself to be called the Champion when he never beat me.

“I proved, once again, that I am the best in the world at everything I do and that has not changed. CM Punk proved nothing.”

A reinvigoration of the Punk vs Jericho rivalry is what the fans yearn for and considering the wrestlers have a real-life heat, a future face-off would be nothing less than epic.
