At an NXT house show in Lakeland, Florida, Gigi Dolin made her much anticipated comeback. The two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion faced off against Cora Jade and successfully defeated her in Dolin’s first match since March 12th. This marked Dolin's inning return after a hiatus following her last match on NXT, where she lost to Arianna Grace via disqualification. Just weeks later, Dolin was removed from programming due to a significant knee injury.

Before her absence, Dolin was involved in a storyline with Arianna Grace, who had been giving her a makeover following their match. However, the storyline was eventually abandoned after a few weeks, likely due to Dolin’s injury.
The 27year old, formerly known as Priscilla Kelly, has been a staple of NXT since early 2021. She is best known for being part of the faction Toxic Attraction alongside Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne. During their time together, Dolin and Jayne captured the now defunct NXT Women's Tag Team Championship twice.

While Dolin was on hiatus, the NXT women’s division underwent significant changes with the additions of stars like ZARIA, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia. Giulia, in particular, has expressed high aspirations for her WWE career, including plans to face off against top names in the industry.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open After Dark, Giulia spoke about who she would like to challenge when she makes her main roster debut. Among the names she mentioned were fellow Joshi stars Asuka, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY, but she also singled out Rhea Ripley, admitting that she has a particular admiration for “The Eradicator.”
