Jannik Sinner has once again stunned everyone with his on-court performance, but this time, it was during a training session, and the video is making rounds on the internet. The player is gearing up for another title at the Chinese Open after winning his first during his debut in 2023.

There is no doubt that the Italian star has become one of the best modern-era tennis players. His emerging rivalry with Carlos Alcaraz is well known not to just the tennis community, but also to the sporting world. The player known for his excellent use of angles was recently spotted practising ahead of the China Open. During that, the four-time Grand Slam champion stunned the viewers by catching the ball from his pocket in Beijing. 

The former World No.1 went through a rollercoaster 2025 Slam season where he managed to reach all four Grand Slam finals, winning two of them. The sensational star recently lost to arch-rival Alcaraz in a hard-fought fixture at the US Open final. Talking about the Chinese Open, Sinner has now returned to the soil with new determination and a different circumstance this year. He was defeated by Alcaraz, his Spanish contender, in 2024, a year after the Italian international made his debut at the tournament and won his maiden Beijing crown against Daniil Medvedev. The World No. 2 boasts a sparkling 9-1 record at the tournament and is gearing up for another title.

Doing so will enlist his name alongside tennis greats like Novak Djokovic, a six-time champion of the tournament and two-time winner, Rafael Nadal, as the only men to win multiple trophies at the ATP 500 event. Meanwhile, the rising player will be desperate to regain his top spot in 2026.  It is to be seen if Sinner triumphs on Chinese soil as the draw includes some tough opponents and To 10 contenders like Alexander Zverev, Alex de Minaur and Lorenzo Musetti.
