Iga Swiatek has recently made a huge change in her professional life following back-to-back losses and her struggling form. The World No. 4 has already started her preparations ahead of the upcoming tournaments.
Meanwhile, Nadal recently joined Swiatek on the practice court at his Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca on Thursday, offering hands-on guidance as the four-time French Open champion prepares for the upcoming clay-court season with her new coach, Francisco Roig.

The video, which has been going viral online, shows the 22-time Grand Slam winner demonstrating shots and technique to the Polish star during a session on the red clay, with Roig, who spent more than 15 years as a key member of Nadal's coaching team.
The Spanish tennis legend welcomed the Pole back to the Rafa Nadal Academy via Instagram, posting a photo with the message:
"Welcome back... Enjoy your time here! We hope you feel at home."
Swiatek confirmed Roig's addition to her team the same day through a social media story captioned "Welcome to the team, Francisco!”
The collaboration comes after Swiatek parted ways with longtime coach Wim Fissette following a challenging start to 2026. Roig's deep expertise on clay, honed through years alongside Nadal, is expected to sharpen the No. 4 star’s game ahead of the European swing.
