WrestleMania is often regarded as WWE's version of the Super Bowl, and this year, it seems fitting to involve NFL legend Tom Brady in the spectacular event being held in Las Vegas. Since his retirement, Brady has been a dream target for WWE, and now it looks like the stars may be aligning for his potential involvement in this iconic showcase.

Throwback To The Event's Glamorous Past

Over these years, Wrestle Mania has had a number of celebrity appearances, this event being an eye-catching crossover opportunity for most. Since the first edition in 1985, the "Show of Shows" has attracted such well-known figures as Muhammad Ali, Mr. T, Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, and even former president Donald Trump.

Several NFL athletes have also made their mark, most famously Hall-of-Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor defeating Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI. More recently, NFL stars like Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson have dipped their toes into the WWE waters, while Brady's former teammates, Rob Gronkowski and others, have had their moment in the spotlight at past events like WrestleMania 33.

Brady's Tease, and Possible Participation

Brady has implied that might make an appearance in the middle of all the excitement with WrestleMania 41. In response to this question, he told Fox News Digital: "I may be there. But it's amazing what's going on there, and it's amazing what's happening with WWE and all the different things surrounding that."

Brady is now a minority owner of the hallowed Las Vegas Raiders, a bona fide association with the event since Las Vegas Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders, shall be the venue for WrestleMania 41. To add to this, it makes it even more likely that Brady would be involved with all this action during the much-anticipated weekend in Vegas.

Brady's UFC-and-WWE Connections

The relationship that Brady has with UFC President Dana White, whose organization partnered with WWE in 2023, could also be a factor in luring the NFL legend into the square circle. While WWE's Triple H may want to keep any Brady surprises under wraps, everything points toward some involvement, particularly in a big way.

John Cena and Cody Rhodes Make Public Appeals for Brady

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes already made a public call to action for Brady to show up at WrestleMania 41. "It was very shocking to see that [Brady had retired], and yet not shocking really because time comes for us all. Tom Brady may need to find himself at WrestleMania. He may need to find it anywhere WWE. Tom, live it up now. There might be a future here," said Rhodes, recalling Brady's retirement.

Rhodes still is very much in the WrestleMania limelight as he defends his title against 16-time world champion John Cena. Cena, too, happens to be a big Brady and New England Patriots fan, and he had even expressed a desire to work with the NFL star, pitching a buddy comedy project to him. Cena added, "I sense that Tom's a very creative guy. He's not only an accomplished athlete, but maybe a buddy comedy on the horizon. So, Tom, if you're listening, I'm available and I take all calls, especially from Tom Brady."

This is likely going to be the last Wrestle Manias of Cena as a competitor after which he will enter the WWE Hall of Fame. With such a juicy connection to Brady, this would be the perfect moment for him to show up at his last WrestleMania.
