Dominik Mysterio dropped a shocking update on John Cena after this week's episode of WWE RAW. Mysterio will be defending his Intercontinental Championship this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Today, Mysterio took to his Instagram story to share a surprising John Cena update. Dirty Dom revealed that he was listening to the icon's "Right Now" track.

John Cena will be participating in his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. Penta and Rusev contested in a number one contender's match for the Intercontinental Championship this past Monday night on WWE RAW, but Los Americanos interfered, causing the fight to end through disqualification.

Later on the show, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Dominik Mysterio would be defending his title against Rusev and Penta in a Triple Threat match on Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend.

Bill Apter reacts on WWE's plans for Dominik Mysterio at Saturday Night's Main Event

Iconic wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently expressed his thoughts on there only being for matches booked for Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend and suggested that Dominik Mysterio's fight could receive extra time.

Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk will be fighting against Jey Uso for the vacant world Heavyweight Championship at the event this weekend. The Intercontinental Championship will be on the line in a Triple Threat fight.

In a conversation with Sportskeeda, Apter said that Mysterio's fight, or the title match between McIntyre and Rhodes, could be given extra time on the show due to there only being four matches.

"Maybe one match will be, maybe the Dominik match or the Drew McIntyre-Cody match will be a long match. One of them will be at least 30 minutes," Bill Apter said.

It will be interesting to see if The Judgement Day star can defend his title against Penta and Rusev at Saturday Night's Main Event.
