Cargill shut down speculation of a title change, beating Jordynne Grace and celebrating 100 days as champion on social media.

The former AEW star won the title from Tiffany Stratton last November and hadn’t defended it until this SmackDown clash.

Jade Cargill defended her WWE Women's Championship against Jordynne Grace on SmackDown tonight. The Storm convincingly won the bout against the former TNA icon and will go into WrestleMana 42 as the WWE Women's Champion.

Jade Cargil's first title defense in three months

There were speculations that the company could make Jade lose the title on SmackDown, thus pushing Jordynne Grace. However, it didn't go out that way, and the former AEW star won the fight against one of the best in the game.

Following the win, Jade Cargill broke her silence on social media. She boasted about her win and complained  100 days as the WWE Women's Champion.

"All that talking got yall where!? 100 days of being that THAT BITCH," she wrote.

Jade won the title from Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event last year on November 1, 2025. She decimated an already injured Tiffany Stratton and clinched the title from her. Surprisingly, Jade Cargill did not put her title on the stake against any other star in the last three months. The fight against Jordynne Grace was also fist title defense match in 100 days.
