John Cena dropped his first message on social media after losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He was defeated by Dominik Mysterio, who reclaimed the title in Cena's final match at a Premium Live Event.

Cena became a Grand Slam Champion on the November 10th episode of Monday Night RAW. he quickly began a feud with The Judgement Day, defeating the faction in a six-man tag team match on his final RAW, where he partnered up with Sheamus and Rey Mysterio.

On X (Formerly known as Twitter), Cena responded to WWE ring announcer Alica Taylor, who has played an important role in his retirement tour. At Survivor Series 2025, she announced Cena one final time. The Last Real Champion expressed his gratitude for Taylor.

"Matches and moments are only memorable if we ALL believe in them. Thank YOU for being a driving force to help audiences around the world enjoy and invest in these moments. NO ONE does it alone. Cena's final opponent will soon be decided. The winner of The Last Time Is Now Tournament will face him on December 13th.
