The franchise is already without Jimmy Butler in the upcoming game and is hoping to get him back in the finale against the Los Angeles Clippers. Insider reveals Stephen Curry’s availability in the Warriors vs Trail Blazers pre-season game
The good news is that team superstar Curry is expected to play in the upcoming Warriors game. According to a report by The Athletic’s Anthony Slate, the Warriors point guard is “scheduled to play vs Blazers.”
The 37-year-old sat out of their recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers and Steve Kerr’s side suffered a 116-126 loss. The LeBron James-less side finally bounced back to make it 2-1 in the preseason as they claimed their first exhibition game victory at Crypto.com Arena. The team were also without Luka Doncic; however, the Slovenian is reported to make his pre-season debut as the team faces the Phoenix Suns next.

The Warriors had an interesting season where the franchise was unable to sign any players, mainly due to the contract dispute between them and restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga. However, later, the team managed to sign the Congolese basketball player to a new two-year contract.
Warriors then added Al Horford, Gary Payton II, De’Anthony Melton and Seth Curry in free agency as they upgraded their roster. The team will open their 2025-26 regular season against the Lakers on October 21, 2025.
