Jimmy Butler's final few months with the Miami Heat could be defined as tumultuous in every sense. The star player received a ban from the franchise not once but thrice during the time due to respective reasons. The conduct of both parties toward each other made it clear that Butler would be traded sooner rather than later. The 6-time All-Star reportedly wished to play for the Phoenix Suns but eventually, he was roped in by the Golden State Warriors just a few hours before the closing of the February 6 trade window.

Jimmy Butler On Facing Miami Heat in the Future
As the small forward carries the ability to improve the prospects of any team irrespective of the setup, Jimmy Butler made an instant impact for the Warriors. He has featured in four matches so far in the Golden Yellow and has averaged 20-plus points in each game thus far. However, things are about to get more exciting as in the coming month, the Warriors will take on the Miami Heat.
Jimmy Butler opened up about the thought of facing his former side and made it known that there is no love lost between the entities despite a fallout in the end.
"It's all love," Butler said. "I been in the trenches with MIA for the past 6 seasons. The way they want to beat me, I promise you, it's just as personal for me as well. Love those guys over there. Great organization. It didn't end the way everybody hoped, but that's part of the business. I don't have anything bad to say about that organization."
Jimmy Butler has displayed inspirational play for the Warriors till now. However, it is too early in the day to call the stint a success. While he has started on a brisk note, it will be intriguing to see whether he will be able to consistently perform and complement Stephen Curry on the court.
