LeBron James was the guest on this edition of the New Heights podcast hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce. It was a rewarding session as the four-time NBA champion laid out lessons for the youngsters to follow. One among the many came just before the culmination of the interview.
James addressed the pressure that comes along while pursuing the sport and advised the "young guys" to dedicate themselves to the sport, be respectful to the game and it will give you respect in return.
“To the young guys out there that feel the pressure, that feel like it’s maybe too much — if you just put the work in and don’t be an a**hole, be a good person, dedicate yourself to the craft, the game will always be kind to you.”

Paying heed to all the hate that his son Bronny receives, LeBron James stated that his son isn't deserving of such reception as he is a benign individual, who minds his business, does his work, and is a fun kid to hang out with. Talking about his son, King James stated that if a naysayer ever meets him and observes his behaviour, then he will be compelled to change his outlook on Bronny.
“If you ever meet Bronny, then you’ll realize I’m such an idiot to look down on him or not want him to do great. He is the most chill, easy, fun kid in the world,” James said. “He goes to work, he goes home, he takes care of his body, he plays video games, he reads a little bit, and then he comes back and does the same thing. He’s like the best big brother that his little brother and little sister could ever have.
