Nikola Jokic joins Russell Westbrook for triple-double average record
With 12 assists in tonight's victory against the Utah Jazz, Nikola Jokic has now officially averaged a triple-double on the season, the player has joined the list. With the 2025-26 regular season winding down, Jokic has locked in averages of approximately 27.7 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game.
This marks his second straight triple-double season after achieving the feat in 2024-25, cementing one of the rarest statistical accomplishments in league annals. Jokić has recorded 32 triple-doubles this season alone, further normalizing the once-unthinkable line for a big man while leading the Nuggets in yet another deep playoff push.
Westbrook previously accomplished the milestone across three straight seasons from 2016-17 to 2018-19 while with the Oklahoma City Thunder, posting historic numbers highlighted by a league-leading 31.6 points per game in his first such campaign. Je also did it in the 2020-21 season with the Washington Wizards.
