As the regular season is nearing its end, it is becoming likely that the LA Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder will square off in a colossal playoff battle. While it will be hard to pick one between the two, according to Lou Williams it is an "easy" choice.

Lou Williams Says Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Will Give Edge To Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder have enjoyed continued dominance this season. They are sitting pretty at the top in the Western Conference table and at 64-14, there is no chance for other teams to wander around them. The Lakers on the other hand are at 3rd on the table and have dominated and struggled at different intervals this season. Courtesy of a standout performance from Luka Doncic, the Lakers got the better of the Thunder quite comprehensively the other day. They defeated the table-toppers with a convincing scoreline of 126-99. Moreover, Doncic outscored the MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the game.
Despite the exceptional showcase by the Lakers, Williams thinks that the Oklahoma City Thunder will ride on the MVP-Esque season of SGA and will go past the Lakers, should they meet in the playoffs.
“This year, SGA has been one of two of the best players in the entire league right now,” Williams said. “So, I don’t think that’s gonna change going into the playoffs. It’s not gonna change what he’s been able to accomplish this year and the way he’s played on both ends of the floor, not just offensively.”

Not Luka Doncic But Nikola Jokic is the Only Other Player Who Can Compete With SGA
While Doncic emerged as the bigger contributor this time, yet the former Clippers star kept Shai above in the pecking order. He only considered Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic as the only other man who can create a similar impact.
"Nikola Jokic is probably the only person I would even have a conversation about picking besides SGA going into a playoff series. This is easy for me."
