India are dominating the first Test against Bangladesh in CHattogram, thanks to the clutch of performances which contributed to put the KL Rahul-led side on driver seat after the summation of Day 2. It started with Cheteshwar Pujara's resilient 90 followed by Shreyas Iyer's vital 86 and Rishabh Pant's cameo to steady India's boat from a precarious position of 48/3. But one player who surprised everyone is Kuldeep Yadav, who not only did the star work with the ball, but also dazzled with the bat (40 off 114) along with Ravichandran Ashwin (58 off 113).

Cheteshwar Pujara once again live up to India's expectation and rescued the Men in Blue's from a precarious position on a tough Chattogram pitch on Day 1 of the first Test against Bangladesh on Wednesday (December 14). Pujara scored a sturdy 90 off 203 and paired with Shreyas Iyer, who struck an unbeaten 82, to steer India from 48/3 to 278/6 at the close of Day 1. Pujara doesn't regret missing out on his 19th Test hundred in the first Test against Bangladesh as he would happily take his 90-run knock on a ‘difficult track’ which he says will get worse by the day.
