After the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women's team clinched the Women's Premier League (WPL) title by defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) in the final on March 17 (Sunday), the poster boy of the franchise Virat Kohli congratulated the Smriti Mandhana-led team for their spectacular performance. In a video that has gone viral, Kohli can be seen congratulating and celebrating with the women's team through a video call.

What did Virat Kohli say in the video call?

After the game, RCB captain Mandhana was quizzed about the conversation with Virat Kohli on the video call. Mandhana revealed that she couldn't hear a word of what Kohli spoke but saw the happiness on the Indian superstar's face. The RCB captain also confirmed that she will be meeting Kohli while shedding light on how the former RCB men's team captain helped her and the team.

"I didn't hear anything he was saying because it was too loud, he was like just thumbs up and I just did thumbs up," said Mandhana in the press conference.

"I will be meeting him. He looked happy there was a bright smile. I remember him coming last year and a little pep talk which really helped me personally as well as the whole team. He has been a part of this franchise and I think he has been there for the past 15 years so I could see that happiness on his face but because of the noise I couldn't hear him, maybe I will chat to him when we go to Bengaluru," she added.

Time for Kohli to complete the double for RCB

With the women's team finally lifting the curse, the RCB supporters are dreaming of double delight and hoping for the men's team to translate the heroics of the women's team into IPL success.
