Pant becomes only the third Indian wicketkeeper-batter to play 50 or more Tests for the national team.

India's star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has achieved a big feat in Test cricket even before playing a single game in the game.

Big feat for Rishabh Pant in Tests

The left-handed batter has joined MS Dhoni and Syed Kirmani in an iconic club, as he became the only third Indian wicketkeeper to play 50 or more Test matches. Currently, Rishabh Pant is playing in his 50th Test game.

Syed Kirmani, who was one of the members of India's 1983 World Cup winning squad played a total of 88 Test matches in his career, which spanned for over a decade. He represented India from 1976 to 1986. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni finished his Test career after playing 90 matches. The former India skipper announced his retirement from the longest format in the year of 2014.
