India Women's team is playing against Netherlands in their ongoing clash in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, which is being played on Wednesday, June 17 at Headingley in Leeds. India are entering the clash after a massive 64-run win over Pakistan in their tournament opener.

Netherland skipper Babette de Leede won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Women in Blue, citing the bowling friendly conditions of the venue. It will be a tough challenge for the Indian side, as they need to maintain their intensity after claiming a massive win over Pakistan in the last game.

After winning the toss, Netherlands skipper Babette de Leede, chose to bowl first against the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side, hoping to extract some help from the wicket and showing faith in their batting line-up. Meanwhile, she admitted that she is feeling a little pressure as it's a dream to play against India. "We’re super excited for this opportunity. I think playing India is a dream coming true, especially here in Leeds. So yeah, we’re super excited. A little bit nervous, but more excitement," said Babette de Leede.
Meanwhile, India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur after losing the toss said that the side is looking forward to bat first, as it's a great challenge. While opening up on the changes in the lineup, she revealed that the side wille have two changes, as Nandani Sharma is featuring in place of Arundhati Reddy. "we made one change. Myrthe is coming in. We’re playing an extra pacer and dropped a batter," said Harmanpreet Kaur.
